Privacy policy
This policy explains how AI Agent Team at ai-agent-team.worksmarto.com (Article Squad, Blog Squad, AgentSquad and the AI Startup Idea Lab, together "the service") handles information. The service is run by Software Innovation Labs, an MSME in Erode, Tamil Nadu, India, as part of worksmarto.com.
1. What we collect and why
| Data | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Your topic, audience, task or idea text | Sent from your browser to the AI provider you chose so the agents can work on it | In your browser tab only while it's open. We never receive it. |
| Your API key | Sent from your browser to the provider you chose, with each AI call | In your browser tab only; never sent to worksmarto. Saved on your device only if you tick "Remember my key". |
| Standard web server logs (IP address, time, page) | Kept by our page host, GitHub Pages, and by our DNS provider, Hostinger, for security and operations | Under their own retention policies |
| Settings in your browser (provider, model, theme, consent, optional saved key) | So the page remembers your choices | On your device only, until you clear it. We can't see it. |
We do not sell data, show ads, build profiles or use tracking cookies on this service.
2. AI providers we send text to
To generate answers, your text is sent to one of these providers, each under its own privacy policy and terms. Some free tiers may use inputs to improve their services.
- Groq: groq.com/privacy-policy
- Google Gemini API: policies.google.com/privacy and the Gemini API terms
- OpenRouter, and the model provider it routes to: openrouter.ai/privacy
- Inside claude.ai, the artifact versions run on the viewer's own Claude account under Anthropic's policies.
If a model is retired, missing or busy, the page switches to another model from the same provider to finish your request.
3. Your API key
- Sent over HTTPS directly from your browser to the provider you chose. This site has no server of its own, so worksmarto never receives, stores or logs your key.
- If a provider's error message contains your key, the page hides it before showing the error.
- "Remember my key on this device" stores it in your browser's local storage only. Untick it or clear your browser data to remove it.
- "Check key and load models" sends your key to the provider once to list the models your key can use. Nothing is kept.
- Use a separate key for this service and delete or rotate it when you're done.
4. Topic ideas and trending topics
When you ask the team to pick a trending topic, your browser reads public AI headlines from the Hacker News search API (hn.algolia.com) and passes the titles to the Researcher agent. No personal data is sent to it, and the service does not republish articles.
5. Please don't share personal data
The service doesn't need any personal information. Don't type names, contact details, client data, passwords, health or financial details, or anything confidential.
6. Children
The service is meant for adults and students aged 18 and over. Don't use it if you are under 18 without a parent or guardian.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and keeps no run data anywhere outside your own browser. No system is perfectly secure, so please follow the advice above about keys and personal data. The open-source code is public on GitHub; if you run the server version yourself, you are responsible for how it handles data.
8. Your rights (India DPDP Act, 2023)
You can ask what personal data we process about you, ask for correction or erasure, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. Since we keep almost nothing, most requests are answered quickly. Contact the Grievance Officer, Software Innovation Labs at techiefun845@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within 15 days. You can also approach the Data Protection Board of India.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Read it together with our terms of use.
